Fresh Pasta - The Basics

 

Makes enough Pasta for 6 hearty portions. It keeps well, so if there are two of you make it up and it will dry out and keep for a month.

Ingredients

  • 270g Pasta Flour
  • 3 Free Range Eggs
  • pinch of Salt (optional)
  • splash of Olive Oil (optional)

Equipment

  • Pasta rolling machine
  • Rolling Pin
  • Knife
  • Cling Film
  • Tray
  • Tea Towels

Fresh Pasta was one of the main reasons we started keeping chickens. We needed eggs, and fresh ones at that. I would recommend not only getting a Pasta rolling machine, but start building your chicken coop tomorrow.

  1. OOOOOOO bought my hubby one of those pasta push through machines..Never used it.. lets hope this will show him the way.
